Bichons are a wonderful versatile companions in both the males and females of the breed.
Two neutered males will get along, as will 2 spayed females. Often multi bichon homes will have a mixture of altered males and females. Bichons do very well in small packs.
Playfulness and ball fetching are exhibited in both males and females of the breed, if they have a genetic predisposition to that, as these traits are genetic. The personality of your bichon will also be inherited from the line they were bred from. So be sure to ask your breeder what type of temperament their dogs have. Quiet or very outgoing etc.
